Touched by Fire
is a small company based in Christchurch (New Zealand) with the aim to ignite a passion for exquisite forms, fabrics, textures and colours. The scarves are conceptualised and designed by Simon Ogden
in New Zealand. Once the designs are ready, they are sent to Italy. In Lake Como natural fibres are blended and woven into fabrics that hang softly and best react to natural dyes, bringing the nuances of colour and the details of the design to life. At this point, the printed material travels to Bologna. In Bologna a team of committed artisans cuts, washes and finishes each scarf by hand before the journey back to New Zealand.
